SNOWY EGRET
Snowy egrets are small members of the heron family. They are social birds and frequently feed as a group.
GREAT EGRET
Great egrets are more than twice as large as the snowy egret and do not have yellow feet. They are less social and require more personal space.
OSPREY
young ospreys have reddish orange eyes and bright plumage.
OSPREY ADULT
Ospreys are plunge fishers which can sometimes lead to injury. They also fight over territory and become injured by fishing tackle.
BROWN PELICAN
First year pelicans are more prone to injuries from fishing tackle than adults.
GREAT BLUE HERON
Great blue herons are very territorial. They are vulnerable to fishing line injury to their legs and feet.
